Why screen for ACL risk?
1
ACL injury is the most common high time-loss injury in field sports athletes. Reducing the risk of ACL injuries occurring within your team can help prevent dropout from sport.
2
Educate your players and coaches on the key techniques and habits that help to prevent injury and help them to build those behaviours.
3
Save money on expensive treatment and long term rehabilitation for the individual and/or the club

How it works
You pick the venue and organise the team to arrive. Testing takes around 5 mins per athlete. Reports and program will be sent back within a week.
How much is it?
€65 per athlete (minimum 20 athletes)
What is measured?
Single-leg squat, Single-leg landing, deceleration and a 90 degree change of direction
What does a report show?
There are certain movements that contribute towards ACL injury. Each athlete will receive a report showing if they stay within certain movement ranges that reduce the risk of injury. They will get access to content explaining the tests and what key technique points they should be looking to reach for each one.
What does a program include?
The program will be an 8-week team training program designed to meet the team needs. There will be deceleration and agility drill warm-ups for nights when the team are training on pitch and a 2 session a week gym program to follow aimed and reducing ACL injury risk.
The program will have videos of all exercises with clear coaching points for the athletes to follow
